Don’t Drink Alcohol … Gamble
Posted in Craps on 01/09/2010 04:21 am by PhilipIf you prefer to indulge in a beer every now and then, keep your money at home if you intend to do your drinking in a brick and mortar betting house. I am serious. clean out your billfold, your money belt, and leave all cash, bank cards and cheques at home. Take whatever money you are planning to spend on beverages, tips and whatever pocket coins you intend to lose and leave the remainder behind.
Pessimistic? Not really. Practical really. You may well discover a success after a boozy evening out with your buddies and be fortunate enough to hit a marathon roll at a hot craps table. Hang on to that tale because it’s as short-lived as it gets if you constantly drink and gamble. The 2 just do not mix.
Keeping your money at home is a little drastic, but defensive actions for drastic actions is proportionate and necessary. If you bet to win, then don’t consume alcohol and bet. If you can manage to throw away your cash without a worry, then consume all the no cost alcohol your stomach can hold, but don’t take debit cards and cheques to throw into the mix of chasing losses once your drunken brain loses everything!
