You want to succeed so badly that you relinquish control of your common sense. You’re at your last $20 for the day and you contain little fight remaining. Leave with your twenty dollars!
You should never capitulate, don’t ever bow out, don’t ever think, "This is awful, I’m going to lay the rest on the Hard 4 and, if I don’t win, then I will leave. But if I gain, I will be even for the session." That is the stupidest thing you can attempt at the closing of a losing night.
If you have to give your cash to someone, for heaven’s sake gift it to your favored charity. Do not hand it to the gambling den. Occasionally, you’ll succeed on one of those moronic bets, but don’t imagine you will win sufficiently over time to conquer your losses.
